In the Studio: Tiger Lily

On our Wedding Anniversary this summer my husband brought me home 7 vases of flowers. Yes, seven. I spent hours the next day photographing all the unique beauties. This Tiger Lily was one of the most unique his picked. The yellow was so bright and I just had to see it softened up. What do you think?

  1. Great job of subduing the color and making it look vintage with the old scale as a prop. The white rose (or carnation?) balances the image.

  2. Awesome job featuring the tiger lily! Beautiful!

  3. So so pretty, and I really like your still life set up for this shot. Happy Anniversary.

  4. Love these flowers on the old scale!

I love reading your little notes, it makes me smile from ear to ear!
