Sugar Cookie Lip Balm




This lip balm is so creamy smooth! The combination of cocoa butter, coconut oil, vanilla, and sweet almond oil give it a all natural sugar cookie fragrance without adding any fragrance oils.


Supplies:

  • 1 ½ teaspoon beeswax

  • 1 ½ teaspoon cocoa butter

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • ¼ teaspoon sweet almond oil

  • ⅛ teaspoon clear vanilla extract

    Once you try this lip balm, you will be addicted!


    DIRECTIONS:

    In a double broiler, melt coconut oil, cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, and beeswax on medium heat until all wax pellets have dissolved. Promptly remove from heat and whisk in clear vanilla extract.

    Carefully pour into lip balm pots while mixture is hot. Allow to cool, approximately 30 minutes before covering lip balm pots with lids.

    Yields: 3 to 4, 5 ml lip balms

    Vanilla Lavender Linen Spray






    This week I'm sharing with you a lovely homemade linen spray from Bittersweet Walnut Grove book series. Lavender and vanilla are equally great scents to fragrance your home. Our Vanilla Lavender Linen Spray can be misted over bed sheets, guest towels, and more. Try spraying your rugs before vacuuming or spritz a little on your just washed linens before drying.     SUPPLIES:



      DIRECTIONS:

      In a glass jar or spray bottle add each essential oil and alcohol. Close the lid and shake to combine. Add distilled water to the essential oil mix, close the lid, and shake once more to combine.

      Print the Farm Fresh Labels onto white card stock. Cut labels from printed card stock or punch out. Whole punch one label and secure to bottle with twine or yarn.

      Shake lightly before each use. A spray bottle with a fine mist is recommended.
