Who doesn't love a classic red barn in any season? This handsome gem "Had me at Hello" with the lush vine growing along the side. Tucked between a grove of trees and a field of harvested corn the striking bold red contrasts against the empty blue sky.
Bring back a blown out or empty sky by adding depth with a classic vignette and texture.

ReplyDeleteOh yes! I can say I love red barns. I do not encounter them that often here in California. I have seen some but have not had the opportunity to stop for a photo. #WordlessWednesday
ReplyDeleteRuth, I can only imagine how rare they must be in CA
DeleteThe texture of the wood with the red is really nice.

Thank you, I'm so glad you popped in to share those gorgeous relics of nature!
DeleteThere is one on the road behind us that use to be my husband's grandparent's farm. It is still red, but now the people there have turned it into a party barn with basketball etc for their kids and grandkids.
ReplyDeleteIs amazing how when going down the road, a barn calls attention; even the older falling apart ones. This red one in your photo is lovely. :)
Thanks for visiting me and linking.
