The Country: Mother Goose

Living in the country we are welcomed by much wildlife. Our favorite is the fox who naps in the wildflowers at the edge of our woods. The cotton tail rabbits and chipmunks bring many smiles and laughter. The Canadian Goose is intriguing to watch as they mother their goslings.  Never letting them get too far, as they are always off to new adventures.

We have baby geese living by Target of all places. We have watched them grown up, it's so fun to check them out each week. This year we have a chipmunk in our garden, he is a hoot to watch. Isn't it great living in the countryside.

    1. Chipmunks are quite the entertainment! We have one that has figured out to climb up to the bird feeder.

  7. That's sweet, I've never seen a fox except at the zoo, but I'm sure they're out there. Remember a time when you hadn't seen a coyote? I love chipmunks.
