The Texture Touch

  1. Apply the tall tale texture to your image
  2. Select the overlay blending mode for the texture
  3. Apply a layer mask and select a large soft round brush
  4. Set the brush color to black with an opacity of 25%
  5. Brush away texture from your main subject

  12. Beautiful soft tones and subtle textures in the barn photo. We're having a heat wave in eastern Canada as well. It's more of a pleasure to stay indoors, rather than being "stuck" inside, during the high heat of the day. I found my way to your blog through Tones on Tuesday and am very much liking what I see here. Will definitely have some indoor playtime today exploring your site.
