The Texture Touch

I may be a country girl, but I can appreciate a day in the city.  Visiting the Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago is like stepping into the past. It was built in the late 1800s during the Victorian Era. I find it a place of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of the city. Have you stepped into the past lately?

  1. Start with the postale texture blended on darker color
  2. Lower the opacity of the texture to 50%
  3. Add the painted texture blended on soft light
  4. Reduce the opacity to create subtle brush strokes

    1. I agree, but it's so hard to put down the camera when beauty is all around. Next time, I shall pack a good book or picnic basket!
