The Inspired Weekend

"Faith is not knowing what the future holds, but knowing who holds the future."
Today, I have a collaboration for you.  Paula of Rustika Photography artwork takes you to a dream land! This photo is from Paula's Skeleton Key Series.

I asked Paula to share with us what photography means to her and how she got started.

"Rustika Photography comes as an expression of my own eclectic taste.  It carries a hint of a bohemian flavor and a true desire to explore and discover.

I have been playing with cameras ever since I was a little girl.  Both my parents have been involved with the arts all their lives, and my dad got into photography even before I was born.  I remember watching him develop his films in an improvised dark room he set up at home, and I would play with all the cameras he used to have.  He died three years ago, and this is my way of connecting with him."

  3. I just found out from my brother that my father had his own dark room in our grandmother's house. I never knew how much my dad liked taking photos. (my dad dies when I was young and not much was ever revealed)
