In the Studio

A little paper bouquet has me smiling in the studio today.  Since Valentine's Day was this week - I have to ask, "Are you a dozen red roses kind of person or something longer lasting?" I myself love greens best and flowers that preserve well.  I don't know if you've tried it, but in my experience dried red roses turn a non pretty shade of brown.

No, I don't much care of red roses... my faves are regular Daisies, Gerber Daisies, & Sunflowers... I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but Gerbers are my absolute fave! =)

    Beautiful creations, Kristy =)

    1. I had to Google gerbers - they are so charming! I imagine with the daisies and sunflowers makes your home so cheerful!

  2. Love the photo and what you did with it. I myself am not a flower person, let alone roses. I like plants that last, with the least amount of care is even better :)

  3. I've had pretty good luck with drying roses upside down in our house, which is always really dry. Maybe that's why.

Love these little flowers you've created -- very pretty!

  4. Beautiful paper creations! I much prefer simple tulips or I've yet to buy some of my favorite ranunculus. Love the simple off white theme.

I always turn my roses upside down too, and they dry fine and the color is fairly preserved. But to receive flowers, I'm happy with anything someone wants to give me... lol! I'm so glad you decided to join us and share at Weekly Top Shot :-) I hope you'll come share again...
