If there's one thing that winter lacks from all the other seasons - it's the color green. There's something about green that just makes us feel alive. Luckily, I planted paper whites in late December and now they are spiking up in shoots of green! What do you find yourself missing in the winter months?

I SOO agree with you!! That is unless I was still living in SO Cal which is green all year long, but here in NC it is so brown and lifeless feeling. I miss the green and the cheer it gives off...and I also miss the warmth. I am a sunshine girl! These pictures are beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sunshine girl too, without it I get a little grouchy.
DeleteYes, the color green. The bland landscape can almost hurt the eyes. That's why I LOVE evergreen type plants that stay green no matter what.
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you, Kristy! I miss the color green during winter too. Though this winter, I'm really missing the color white. We've yet to get a great big dumping of snow. :( Hoping to get some tonight though! Fingers crossed...
