Weekend Texture Twist

Congrats to last week's Texture Twist Winner - Tiffany author of June Makes Six! Take home your reward from the buttons page. This homestead is really called the Red Gables.  It sits among fields of corn and tall wise trees.  I grew up in home similar to this one.  We had wrap around porch and tire swing out back. BTW, I'm guest posting at Joyful Jones today!

Antique your image with texture:
  1. Apply the Articles Texture on the darker color blending mode at 55% opacity
  2. Duplicate the texture layer and blend on color burn at 35% opacity

Do you have a Texture Twist to share?
  1. Share a photo you've added texture to, open till Tuesday
  2. Grab a Texture Twist button or the link and include it in your post
  3. Add your link with mr. linky below

  13. Henrietta,
It's a homestead I photographed on a historical barn tour with my Dad. It sure would be fun to fill out that space!

  16. I love how the tree is still filling out; it doesn't overpower the red roof.

Thanks for pointing me in your direction! : )
