The Texture Touch: On the Plains

Summer on the Midwest plains

Oh how I love to watch the tall grass dance as the summer winds race between the blades.

Photoshop Texture Touch:
  • Layer the tall tale texture over your photograph (This one's a Goodie!)
  • From the layers palette select the overlay blending mode
  • Slide the opacity bar to 85%
  • Add the fading script texture over the first texture and blend on soft light
  • Apply a layer mask, using a soft round brush at 90% opacity, brush away script from your main subject

    1. Thanks Sarah, I think it works well with the strong contrast from the summer sun.
