Winter Woodlands
In the first 3 weeks at our new home we have had two blizzards. The second lasting more than 4 days of constant snowfall. From the get-go I have been immersed in the unique beauty only snow can create.
The heavier the snow falls the more beautiful the woodlands around our home become. If it wasn't for the cold; I think I could spend hours photographing every detail and simply lay under the delicately covered branches writing of winter's secrets. The cold doesn't seem to phase our Australian Shepherd, she is just as curious as I.

We hope you can join us, have a great weekend!
Snow certainly does spread a blanket of peace.
DeleteBeautiful. I wished and begged and hoped for snow all winter long. I got a few dustings and 2 inches of horrible slush. :/ I will enjoy the beauty of the snowy winter through you!
ReplyDeleteI've been there Tracey. My husband and I just moved back up north after many years living in the south - just in time for Winter's Beauty!
DeleteI love the way the snow sticks to the evergreen branches! Snow really does create a certain kind of beauty. I'm glad you are settling into your new home!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah!
