Well, I'm back from our annual fall road trip with loads of photos to share! Check out those golden yellow leaves, I just don't find that around home. These photos were captured outside an old school house my husband and I had lunch. I just adore the rural lane covered in fallen leaves. It started to rain shortly after we finished lunch, so I only had chance to capture few photographs of this charming location. Oh, if you're wondering what kind of lunch we had at an old school house - it was a chicken and noodle heirloom recipe made from scratch made only during the annual Spoon River Scenic Drive.
Come join me at The 36th Ave - I'm sharing a photo frame makeover and a free Give Thanks Printable too!

Deletegorgeous colors!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Kristy! I'm curious about the "Spoon River" drive....I used to teach Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology. I've just Googled info about the drive and I found that the location is the same!
ReplyDeleteThat so cool Evelyn and you are exactly right! It is held Fulton Co IL every fall which always happens to be when the leaves are turning which makes the tall that much more interesting!
DeleteWhat a wonderful trip you must have had! I hope you share more pictures for those of us who don't get as much lovely autumn where we are :-)
ReplyDeleteMarty, I certainly am - I'll be sharing photos every week this month from the trip!
