The Texture Touch

This was such an interesting farmstead to shoot.   It was full of whimsical details. From the handmade wood log and iron fence, to the rusting sweep conveyer, and to the resting barn door - I was loving it all!

  3. Lovely pics -- I need to get out and find a few barns. Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of old ones, as they do in other places --

  4. I need to get out and take some more barn photos -- or I may wait until winter -- I don't think the fields are looking too good right now. :)

    1. This is true, with over 70 percent of the country in a drought. Our crops are hurting. The government even declared my home state a natural disaster due to the drought.

You would pop into my mind whenever we passed by barns and farms on our drives this summer when we were in Canada... Guess why. :)

  21. Love your photos. Beautiful place and your textures are wonderful. I am such an amateur when it comes to photography. I am a SOOC only person only because I don't understand how to do anything else.
