Summer's End

Before Summer Ends...
I want to bake in the sun one last time (our pool will close at the end of Sept),  Sip a Margarita on the patio at the Mexican Cantina under the stars (with my husband of course),  and watch the fireflies twinkle in the brush on summers eves stroll.  What would you do on your last day of summer?  Share your photo story, summer skies, and vintage photos too!

Too funny, we were both thinking about the end of summer today :-)

  2. I would like to enjoy the last summer evening at the lake we used to visit when I was a child. I loved to listed to the soft sounds of laughter, music and the tinkle of glass across the water as folks relaxed after a day of swimming, fishing and fun.

What would I like to do on the last day of summer ...I would like to be on holiday in our bush block 'Old Forest' sitting (with my husband)and listen to all the sounds around me, birds, wind in the trees, the river nearby sipping a local beer Miners Old dark!

  10. Magical tones in this enchanting image! I am waiting for signs that warm Spring is really here! So far, only a few blossoms seem to know about it! We have literally had weeks of chilly rain beneath grey skies!

  14. Thanks for sharing your love of summer! It's going to be in the 90s here again. But the mornings and evenings have been cooling down to the 70s. My apologies to Ticklebear or anyone else heading for winter.
    Enjoy your Sunday,

  18. That is a magnificent photo! We're already into rain here on the West Coast of Canada, so such scenes are gone for the season...:)
