The Inspired Notebook: Project box

DIY Project Box

I am the "creative type" and one who needs a place to write down ideas for projects. I've tried apps, pocket notebooks, mini books, post its, and calendars.  I really wanted to able see and record projects by category/topic.  So, I when I found this blank recipe box in my craft closet I knew it would be perfect!!

Step 1. Create project category dividers:
(Examples: Cards, Gift Wrap, & Scrapbook Pages)
A. Die cut 10 shapes from scrapbook paper with an Apothecary Accents Die
B. Punch 10 labels to create tabs with the Decorative Label punch
C. Die cut 10 shapes from scrapbook paper with another Apothecary Accents Die
D. Punch 10 butterflies for an embellishment with the Elegant Butterfly Punch
Step 2. Assemble each project category divider as shown above

Step 3. Decorate your Project Box. Then insert project ideas on index cards as often as you like!

I created this project with tools and supplies in the Stampin' Up Catalog and papers from my Scrap Haul Video!

I can't wait to see what you are creating this week! Please share a link with me to your project on Facebook, Twitter, or in the comments below.
