The Country
When it came time to take our Christmas card photos this year, my Dad had the perfect place in mind! This charming little school house sits at the top of a winding hill surrounded by woodlands and prairie. I love the vintage white shutters and rustic roof tiles. Where did you take your Christmas card photos this year?

DeleteGorgeous! What a sweet spot!
ReplyDeleteWe take our photos by the same old tree in Colonial Williamsburg every year. It really isn't ideal since it's a long drive, usually with traffic and then a bit of a walk, all to get to the dappled light of this tree. But, we've done it since the kids were little so we keep going, ha ha!
What a unique tradition and it sounds beautiful
DeleteLove the processing! Very serene!
ReplyDeleteThat totally makes me think of Little House on the Prairie! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI went with the staircase in our home this year and tried to squeeze as many of my trees in with the boys, as possible. :)
Oh so true Dina! Your Christmas card photo sounds beautiful - I love using staircases in portraits!
DeleteOh it's beautiful! We did a collaborative thing being we were on the fly. We had originally planned on doing them at the beach during our long planned vacation that was supposed to happen mid-November. But since we didn't get to make that happen, we had to get a little creative. :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I'm obsessed with this venue!!! GORGEOUS!
