The Inspired Notebook

I want to share with you a fun project to display your fall captures! I shared the 1st part of this project on The 36th Ave at the beginning of this month. So, if you read it there scroll down to the 2nd part. I don't know about you, but I REALLY take possibly too many photos this time of year! I just can't help myself with all the beauty that surrounds us.

To get started, watch the mini canvas Photoshop Video Tutorial. Next, you'll want to download the Autumn Mini Canvases or work with your supplies on hand.  I recommend printing the canvases on photo paper for long lasting quality and vibrant colors. You can print up to 4 - 4"x4" mini canvases on 1 sheet of photo paper!  That's what I call frugal!! Once printed, trim into 4 separate squares.

Let's Step It Up, by creating a banner! First, cut 8 - 6"x6" squares from scrapbook paper or craft card stock.  Next, glue each canvas to one square.
Now, we're ready to whip up some paper pinwheels!  Cut 2 - 3"x3" and 2 - 6"x6" squares from double sided scrapbook paper. Next using a scoring board with a diagonal plate score an X onto to each square. Cut on each line of the X, leaving a uncut small circle in the middle. Fold each flap of the pinwheel over, overlapping a small corner in the middle of the pinwheel.  Using a piercing mat and piercing tool, pierce the center of each pinwheel. While keeping the pinwheel pinched together push and fold a brad in the center of each.

Phew... last adhere each pinwheel to the 4 remaining squares with dimensional adhesive. BTW - It's get's easier with each one!
