The Country
One of things I love most about living in the country is the winding roads that lead to unexpected finds. My Mother and I happened upon this charming barn by exiting off the interstate and taking an old state highway from Chicago to my parents home. This farm was so cheerful, we evened spied a lazy heifer hanging her head out of another barn's window on the farm. It must be a busy place part of the year for all of those paths to be worn into the grass.

Lovely finds. Nothing better than happening upon something unexpected and amazing like this.
ReplyDeleteThat is so true and for many aspects in life!
DeleteI love old red barns. This one actually looks like the barn at my grandparents house but about 50 years better shape.

ReplyDeleteHi Kristy. I love your style! I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by Lizzie Jane Baby and for following along with me. I also appreciate your comments and thoughts. I didn't know if you were aware, but you are a "no-reply" commenter. I tried to email you back a couple times and wasn't able to. But I'm glad to say that I am following along with you too! Thanks for the photo inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks for making the extra effort. I find it's more fun to share comments on our blogs, than by email. As business owner I have to prioritize my inbox. Your blog is so cute!
DeleteIt's great to get off the main roads and finding new things. The scene looks so serene, and I love the way you composed the collage!
