The Country
Summer is in full swing! For a country girl this means fireflies in the tall grass at sunset, sundresses and bare feet, frogs singing in chorus along the creek banks, mason jars filled with sun tea and fresh squeezed lemonade and most off all adventure. How will you fill your days of summer?

ReplyDeleteMason jar's are a country classic! I really tried to do something new with this set, glad you like the split!
DeleteI grew up drinking out of mason jars and have carried it on over to my childhood. My mother gives me veggies she cans from her garden and tells me everytime to bring the jar back. Well I am bad at this cuz I use them as glasses :-).
ReplyDeleteMe too! My husband likes to fill empty jars with seasoning blends he comes up with.
DeleteWow, is that really where you live? So lovely!

ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to hang around here more - I really love your use of textures. Mine always seem forced but yours are very natural. I guess it takes time to learn to mix what photo withe which texture! As for summer - I think you also just inspired a mason jar lemon-aid weekend for me ;)
