Today, I have a collaboration for you. Paula of Rustika Photography artwork takes you to a dream land! This photo is from Paula's Skeleton Key Series."Faith is not knowing what the future holds, but knowing who holds the future."
I asked Paula to share with us what photography means to her and how she got started.
"Rustika Photography comes as an expression of my own eclectic
taste. It carries a hint of a bohemian flavor and a true desire to
explore and discover.
I have been playing with
cameras ever since I was a little girl. Both my parents have been
involved with the arts all their lives, and my dad got into photography
even before I was born. I remember watching him develop his films in an
improvised dark room he set up at home, and I would play with all the
cameras he used to have. He died three years ago, and this is my way of
connecting with him."

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteI just found out from my brother that my father had his own dark room in our grandmother's house. I never knew how much my dad liked taking photos. (my dad dies when I was young and not much was ever revealed)
ReplyDeleteThat's great to learn were you talent came from!
