When I see this photo of my sister in strawberry polka dot rain boots the song Strawberry Wine comes to mind. When we were teenagers in high school when we listened and sang to Deana Carter's CD just about every Sat afternoon as we got ready for our dates.
On the banks of the river, on a well beaten path
It's funny how those memories they last
Like strawberry wine and seventeen
I wasn't 17 yet, but she was! It's little things from your youth you never forget.

Oh my goodness..yes, Strawberry Wine was a favorite of mine "way back when"...I was a Teenager when that song came out and I'm sure I drank a little Strawberry Wine with the girls...I just love this amazing photograph! The Texture is so rich and captivating! Happy Tuesday to you!
