Lovely photo...and I so agree about loving long distance video calls. I remember when that was such a "space age" idea! I must be getting old. :)
ReplyDeleteWow..beautiful edit! I haven't heard of "making a long distance call" for so long!
ReplyDeleteI still use the term long distance. Often. My daughter lives 3000 miles from me. :) Perfect for warmth.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture! I love LD calls still... havent done many video calls yet though. And will add this too... had a client who had a rotary phone still. LOVED it! Lots of memories and the phone worked!

My parents live in a different country, and sometime they call me long distance. They can't use Skype because it doesn't work for some reason, so it's always special when they call. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a tradition of calling my grandmother every Sunday and I do remember the days when my dad trying not to be mean, asked me to limit how long I talked to her. Thank goodness for technology and unlimited minutes now! :) What a beautiful picture!
ReplyDeleteI love that shot. :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful processing Kristy!
ReplyDeleteThey look as if they are from the past....and the processing is perfect for the image!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the challenge!
"Long distance" I still here people mentioned it and pretty pretty at our household even though Telecoms are packaging the term differently. haha. I love to learn Photoshopping. I used to have learned the basics several years back and then I went to do other interests. when I came back, I've forgotten those meager skills (lolz) and to top it off, the site where I used to follow must have gotten buried under the other tutorials sites. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your edit...I like how the water is greener in your edited version. Looks fabulous.
