Weekend Reflections: Long Distance Call

Does anyone still use the term - "long distance call"?  As a kid, Grandma and Grandpa would call long distance and we knew what a treasure that was.  What a joy it is today, to have a video phone to talk live unlimited! It's the simple things such as sharing a smile that mean the most!

Reach across the miles and added a warm, worn texture
  1. Faded your photo by layering the Gray Skies Texture soon on a blending mode of darker color around half opacity
  2. Add a hidden massage with the Carte Texture on the overlay blending mode at opacity between 50 and 60 percent

    3. Lovely photo...and I so agree about loving long distance video calls. I remember when that was such a "space age" idea! I must be getting old. :)

I still use the term long distance. Often. My daughter lives 3000 miles from me. :) Perfect for warmth.

    7. My parents live in a different country, and sometime they call me long distance. They can't use Skype because it doesn't work for some reason, so it's always special when they call. :)

    8. We have a tradition of calling my grandmother every Sunday and I do remember the days when my dad trying not to be mean, asked me to limit how long I talked to her. Thank goodness for technology and unlimited minutes now! :) What a beautiful picture!

    16. "Long distance" I still here people mentioned it and pretty pretty at our household even though Telecoms are packaging the term differently. haha. I love to learn Photoshopping. I used to have learned the basics several years back and then I went to do other interests. when I came back, I've forgotten those meager skills (lolz) and to top it off, the site where I used to follow must have gotten buried under the other tutorials sites. :)
