Red Chokeberry
A shrub native to eastern and central North America. Its white and pink flowers are borne in small clusters, like puffy pink clouds. It earned its common name from its bright red fruit. The fruit is edible and quite sweet! This shrub turns a rich crimson or reddish purple in autumn. The bright red berries last until winter when birds eat them after all the other berries are gone.

What a beautiful bush. Not sure it would make it in the hot humid South. Thanks for the info on it. Yours is beautiful.
