Winters End

Years ago I lived on a ranch in Texas working as a Live-in Nanny. This series of photographs was taken at the ending of winter on the ranch. I gathered aging apples and carrots in basket. And the baby and I walked out to share the treats with horses. The winter sun felt warm on our skin and I notice the subtle beginnings of new growth on the trees. These photographs remind me of simpler times - before I became a true adult and with all the responsibilities it entails.
